Who processes your data

WeAdapt is responsible for the personal data that comes in through this website. WeAdapt is based in Amsterdam and can be reached at robin@weadapt.co.

Registered address, Chamber of Commerce number and VAT number: [to be filled in].

What WeAdapt processes

What you enter yourself. Through the contact form on this site: first name, last name, company name, email address, the service you select, your message and the time it was sent. You can also email directly or book a call, in which case WeAdapt processes whatever you put in that message or invitation.

Technical data. The hosting provider records data on every visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. That is needed to serve and secure the site.

Data from cookies. Only if you allow it. See the cookie policy.

Why, and on what basis

Answering your question and carrying out an assignment. Basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one.

Serving and securing the site and fixing faults. Basis: legitimate interest in a working and secure website.

Statistics and marketing. Basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time through the link at the bottom of every page, without affecting what happened before.

Legal obligations. Such as the tax retention period for administration. Basis: legal obligation.

Who else sees the data

WeAdapt does not sell data and does not share it with parties that base their own advertising on it. To operate, WeAdapt does rely on these processors:

Vercel hosts the website and processes technical visit data.

n8n Cloud receives the contents of the contact form and passes it to the WeAdapt mailbox.

Calendly processes your data when you book a call yourself.

Meta receives data through the Meta Pixel, only where you have consented to marketing cookies.

WeAdapt has a data processing agreement with every processor that handles personal data.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of these suppliers are based in the United States or process data there. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long data is kept

Messages through the form or by email: up to two years after the last contact, unless an assignment follows from it.

Data relating to an assignment: seven years, because of the tax retention period.

Your cookie choice: twelve months, or less if you withdraw it sooner.

Your rights

You have the right to see your data, to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to a processing, ask for it to be restricted, or request your data in a portable file. Send a request to robin@weadapt.co and WeAdapt will respond within one month.

If you disagree with how it is handled, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Security

The site runs entirely over an encrypted connection. Access to the mailbox and the systems in use is limited to WeAdapt and protected with strong passwords and two-step verification.

Changes

WeAdapt may update this statement when the website or the suppliers it uses change. The date below shows when it was last changed.
